In all the discussion about American politics and the political right, one would think that the first and foremost concern is only and always electing a president and congresscritters that are committed to small government and entitlement reform.
This is vital, yes, but when it comes down to where federal money for entitlements is spent, we forget 50 very important bricks in the wall of American government: the states.

Americans have become far too familiar with the existence of secret courts — about which, of course, we know next to nothing. But, thank goodness, these “aberrations” are only for “terrorists.”
